Good Old War - Looking For Shelter
I just landed in Dallas about an hour ago, and from my perspective the bus looks like a bunk bed. I’m on bottom. Chile was extraordinary and life changing. More on the experience later, for at the moment I’m bordering delusion brought on by sleep deprivation. Strangely, and fittingly, the first thing I wanted to hear when I stepped onto the bus was Good Old War’s “Only Way To Be Alone”.
I’ve enjoyed Keith’s songwriting since early Days Away, and its such a breath of fresh air to hear his latest work. This song stuck with me most after first listen, and since then I’ve enjoyed the album numerous times via Dr. Dan Young’s laptop. 4 days and a new Amazon.com account later, I’m soaked in heavy handed exhaustion, listening to one of favorite new albums. I hope you enjoy, and… need I say it?
